5 Clever & Quirky Ideas For Valentine's Day!

Make February 14th the Day to DIY Something Extra Fun For Your Valentine!

Sure, I love cards, candy and fresh flowers like the next girl but, once in a while it is fun to break from the typical Valentine’s Day traditions and do the unexpected! This year, I am sharing 5 of my most favorite quirky ideas. And the best part? They won’t cost you and arm and a leg - just a little ingenuity will do the trick!

1.Tell Your Valentine That You are Wrapped Up In Them!

Break out the plastic wrap, some sweet treats and a note expressing your love because it is time to wrap the steering wheel! I made a simple sign that says “I’m wrapped up in you, sweetie” and attached the whole thing to the Gooch’s (hubby’s) steering wheel. Ha! And off to work he goes with a smile on his face. You could wrap a kitchen chair, lunch box, shoes or whatever stands in the way of leaving for the day!

2. You Make My Heart Go Weee!

Place a Valentine message in the most unexpected place…the toilet seat lid. Even the sleepiest of Valentine will get a kick out of lifting the lid in the morning and finding a funny message. I know what you are thinking… “I can’t believe that she actually went there.” Yep - I did! It guarantee it will get a good chuckle.
